Shad Khan, Jaguars owner, skips on Tebow for Mike Mularkey and new coaching staff.

Shad Khan took ownership the Jacksonville Jaguars on January 4, 2012. He immediately began picking the leadership apart, realizing that a team without good leaders is a seriously flawed team.

On January 10, 2012 Shad Khan hired, former Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey

as the Jaguars head coach. Three days later on January 13, Bob Bratkowski become offensive coordinator.  January 20, 2012, the Jacksonville Jags acquired special teams coordiantor John Bonamego and they have also brought in running backs coach, Sylvester Croom, tight ends coach, Bobby Johnson, and Jerry Sullivan as wide receivers coach.

Former St. Louis Cardinals president, Mark Lamping was named as president on February 13, 2012. What is considered by many to be the most important acquisition is Bucs offensive coordinator Greg Olson as quarterback coach.

In Jacksonville, he will be tasked with getting more out of rookie Blaine Gabbert. The former Missouri star, Blaine Gabbert struggled in his first season. He completed 51 percent passing with 12 touchdowns and 2,214 yards. He had 11 interceptions, 5 lost fumbles and 40 sacks.

Olson has an impressive coaching resume that includes Drew Brees, Jeff Garcia, Josh Freeman and Mark Bulger.

Olson is in his 11th NFL season. He has been the offensive coordinator for the St. Louis Rams, the Detroit Lions and he comes to Jacksonville from where has been the last four years, Tampa.
