Justin Slavinski

has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for charges including lewd or lascivious battery and molestation, traveling to meet a minor for sex, and computer solicitation of a minor. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement Orlando Regional Operations Center Cyber Crimes Task Force began their investigation into Slavinski in 2012 after receiving information from the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office in South Carolina. FDLE obtained search warrants to seize Slavinski’s computer and conducted a forensic evaluation, which revealed Slavinski had been soliciting minors over the internet for years.

“I thank the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for their partnership in putting this criminal behind bars and protecting other children from this monster,” stated Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Gerald Bailey said, “I commend the diligence of FDLE agents and the Office of Statewide Prosecution in the successful investigation and prosecution of this reprehensible crime.”

Slavinski was also sentenced to five years’ probation, and he must register as a sex offender. The case was prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office of Statewide Prosecution.
