Eight years since Drew Peterson’s third wife was found dead, the murder trial lawyers and former Chicago officer Drew Peterson were set for center stage today. Peterson is accused in the 2004 death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, in a trial that has been postponed for two years. Drew Peterson remains under investigation for the 2007 disappearance of Stacy Peterson, his fourth wife.
Drew Peterson’s trial is in Joliet, Illinois. According to his lawyer Joel Brodsky the trial should last about a month, during which time it should keep all of America entertained and anticipating the outcome.
Illinois State Attorney James Glasgow stated, “We’re ready to go… We’re anxious to get to trial, put the evidence before the jury and arrive at a verdict.”
On May 7, 2009, Drew Walter Peterson was indicted by a Will County, Illinois, grand jury and charged with the murder of his third wife, Kathleen Savio.
